Dr Marija Mihailova, specialises on the following neurological problems:

– peripheral nervous system disorders:

• Polyneuropathies;
• Compression neuropathies;
• Plexopathies;
• Neuromuscular diseases (myasthenia);
• Muscle diseases;
• Motor neuron diseases;

– diseases of the extrapyramidal system:

• Tremor;
• Parkinson’s disease;
• functional disorders;
• dystonia;
• other hyperkinesias;

– pain of various origins:

• neuropathic pain (pain caused by damage to the nervous system);
• headache;
• fibromyalgia;

– Tinnitus or noises in the ear.

– Dr. Mihailova also has a special interest and performs Electromyography / Nerve conduction studies

In case there is a need for opinion of neurologist or there is a need to perform EMG/NG studies, Dr Marija Mihailova is always happy to help. Dr Mihailova is available for face to face appointments and remote appointments via video-call. There are a number of ways to schedule appointment with Neurologist – electronically (for Latvian residents) or requesting a remote appointment via video call by email or through the telephone contact-for International patients or Latvian residents.
